(CEO: Kazy Hata, “justInCase”) today announces that as of the 30th November 2019, the number of users of our AI-powered “Credit Card Insurance Benefits Lookup” service has increased by 250% since its official release on the 18th of September 2019. We expect that the demand for the service will continue to rise due to increased opportunities for customers to use the service over the upcoming New Year holiday period.
“Credit Card Insurance Benefit Lookup” is a service that utilizes AI-powered image recognition, enabling you to check information about the complimentary travel insurance provided by your credit card by simply taking a photo of your credit card with the justInCase app. We continue to strengthen our database, and the number of credit cards included in the service has now tripled. Furthermore, the accuracy rate of credit card image recognition is approximately 99%. We will continue to listen to feedback from our customers in order to improve the convenience of the service.
Regarding the brands of credit card registered in the “Credit Card Insurance Benefits Lookup”, the No. 1 card registered is Rakuten Card (https://www.rakuten-card.co.jp/card/rakuten-card/), the 2nd most registered card is BicCamera Suica Card (https://www.jreast.co.jp/card/first/bic/), and the 3rd most is Rakuten Premium Card (https://www.rakuten-card.co.jp/card/rakuten-premium-card/).
In addition, more than half of users have registered 1 credit card, 25% registered 2 cards, 10% registered 3 cards, and around 9% registered 4 or more cards.
